FAMILY-OWNED. FAMILY-FOCUSED SINCE 1973!
OUR STORY BEGINS in a place where fireflies are as plentiful as open fields miles from the nearest town. It’s here, in 1973, that Art & Ellen Kuhl turned their farm lot and implement shed into an RV sales and service area. In hopes to capitalize on the upsurge in people’s desire to enjoy the outdoors lifestyle Art & Ellen decided to go into the trailer/camper business.
Art & Ellen visited Northern Indiana to find a manufacturer that would embody the same values they hoped to establish in their new dealership. They came across Lloyd and Bertha Bontrager who just 5 years earlier in 1968, started their own RV manufacturing company JAYCO. The Bontrager’s like Art & Ellen were guided by the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Art & Ellen believed in treating the customer like they would want to be treated and welcoming everyone like family. With shared guiding principles, Art & Ellen became an exclusive Jayco dealer and we remain one today, we still believe no other RV manufacturer can compete with Jayco’s quality, craftsmanship and value.
At the heart of our success as a dealership is our CUSTOMERS. Now in our third generation, those guiding principles of treating the customer like family remains true today. We remain committed to helping our customers make the most of their camping experience.
Now that you have read our story, we’d love nothing more than to be a part of your family story and for you to be a part of ours.
